• Over the past 12 years Kumi has worked within the independent sector and gained the experience of developing and operating a healthcare business, in the role of Specialist Services Development Director, Neuropsychiatry.
• Special interest in the management of individuals with Huntington’s Disease and completed a five-year research project as part of my MSc in Clinical Neuropsychiatry.

• Dr Naicker received multiple honours including his membership in the Golden Key Society due to academic excellence. He completed his fellowship in Internal Medicine and also qualified as a Specialist Physician.
• He soon thereafter commenced his training as a Specialist Cardiologist and completed his fellowship training and examinations.
• He undertook the final Cardiology Certificate Examination ahead of time and is one of the elite few cardiologists in the country who has passed on his first eligible attempt, after 24 months.
• Dr Naicker has also participated in clinical research and was the principal investigator in a study on severe aortic stenosis, which was published in the SA Heart Journal.

• Duvern is the Head of Radiation Oncology at the University of the Witwatersrand and Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital where he sits on various committees including the hospital research committee.
• He has a private practice at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre.
• He has published articles, most recently in Breast Radiation Therapy, in high impact international journals.
• He is an examiner for the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa FCRadOnc examinations, is a member of the executive committee of the South African Society of Clinical and Radiation Oncologists (SASCRO) and on the editorial board of the South  African Journal of Oncology (SAJO). In addition, he is an executive board member of  the Breast Interest Group of South Africa (BIGOSA) and the Gauteng Department of  Health Cancer Task team.
